Wave Wash and Polish
Wave Wash & Polish is a batch filter designed to remove stationary and transient noise ('hiss' and 'pops') from music and other audio data stored in standard 16/8 bit sterero/mono wave files (sorry, no direct support for mp3 files). You can select a bunch of files, click on a button and go for a walk with your dog while WWP does the dirtywork. On a 2 GHz computer, WWP will process approximately 3-4 minutes of CD-quality data per minute.
WheelsOfVolume
Freeware application that allows you to control the volume of your computer using the mousewheel. When the mouse wheel is clicked (middle mouse button) the sound will be muted. When used with a full screen application the top right corner will be used. Extremely intuitive in use. Uses very little computer resources and comes with full installer and deinstaller. Standard functions of the mousewheel are not affected in any way.

YoGen Vocal Remover
YoGen Vocal Remover tries to remove any monophonic components from stereo sounds. Quality of vocal removal depends on how songs are recorded and mixed. This software works very well for vocal tracks that are "up in the middle" of the stereo mix. Therefore you do not expect this software to remove vocals 100% nicely. In some cases, however, it will be useful enough to remove vocals.
ZCR
ZCR renames the CDG and MP3 file inside a ZIP file to match the name of the ZIP file, allowing your MP3+G collection to be better organized. This is also much quicker than unzipping and renaming both files.
