complete almost any task in contemporary optical design.
ADOS is full-featured program that can help you design superior
optical systems.
AstroGrav (Mac)
AstroGrav is a software program that allows you to study how astronomical objects move and interact under the force of gravity. It features superb interactive 3D graphics which allow you to move around within an astronomical system that you are viewing, while watching how it evolves with the passage of time.
AstroGrav (Windows)
AstroGrav is a software program that allows you to study how astronomical objects move and interact under the force of gravity. It features superb interactive 3D graphics which allow you to move around within an astronomical system that you are viewing, while watching how it evolves with the passage of time.
Audio Multi-Tone Generator
Two-channel multi-tone audio frequency sinusoidal & noise signal generator is intended for adjusting and measuring parameters of audio equipment. Independent channels frequency and amplitude controls. A step of frequency setting is 0.00001 %; level - 0.001 dB; phase - 0.001 degree. The minimum coefficient of nonlinear and intermodulation distortion, precision, stability and range of frequency are limited only to quality of the used sound card.
BATE pH calculator
BATE calculates pH of solutions containing mixtures of acid and base with up to 4 dissociation steps and titration curves for these acids and bases. Ionic strentgh can be calculated, omitted or forced. Program contains editable database of common weak acids and bases and accepts acid and base dissociation constants and protonation constants as input. Built in calculator allows easy calculation of molar masses and concentrations for given formula.
BioSeqAnalyzer
BioSeqAnalyzer is a bioinformatics software tool for analyzing DNA and protein sequences.
The registered version, supports the following operations:
Scoring alignment.
Linear global alignment.
Affine global alignment.
Local alignment.
Multiple alignment.
Hidden Markov Models profiles.
Aligning to Hidden Markov Models profiles.
Composition-based classification.
Profile-based classification.
Body Mass Index Calculator
BODY MASS INDEX (BMI) is a single number which expresses a relationship between height, body surface area, and body weight. The BMI is very useful because it correlates very closely to your body fat percentage which is much more difficult to measure. This simple BMI tool will calculate your BMI and tell you your "weight status" according to the Panel on Energy, Obesity, and Body Weight Standards.
ChemDBsoft Academic
ChemDBsoft is chemical database software for management of databases of any size. Includes: free structure drawer, simple data views, searches by structure and substructure, multiple database searches, SDF import/export, duplicate removal, database comparison, chemical web server. Calculation and prediction: QSAR properties, LogP, LogC, solubility, diversity and similarity; HTS and combinatorial chemistry; MASS/NMR/IR spectra management.
ChemLab
Model ChemLab is a unique product incorporating both an interactive simulation and a lab notebook workspace with separate areas for theory, procedures and student observations. Commonly used lab equipment and procedures are used to simulate the steps involved in performing an experiment. Users step-through the actual lab procedure while interacting with animated equipment in a way that is similar to the real lab experience.
Earth Explorer
Earth Explorer integrates high resolution satellite imagery and political boundaries, coastlines, rivers, 267 countries and regions, 40000+ ranked cities, 15000+ islands and 1700+ noteworthy historical earthquakes since 1980 into a fantastic 3D earth globe. You can specify what kinds of map layers to be shown, rotate the globe, click right mouse button and pull/push to zoom in/out the current view, measure distance between any two points, etc.
Earthquake 3D
Zoom and spin your way around the globe while viewing earthquakes in 3D. Adjust and customize the display to see earthquakes in a variety of different ways. Filter earthquakes by size and time - then select from many options that include quake indicators and map references. Earthquakes are shown in near real-time using the latest data from the USGS via the internet.
EasyNN-plus
EasyNN-plus is a neural network system for Microsoft Windows. It makes the creation of neural networks easy. It allows the user to produce multilayer neural networks from a grid or from text files and images. The user can produce training, validating and querying files using the facilities in EasyNN-plus or using any editor, word processor or spreadsheet that supports text files.
Five Cellular Automata
Software for exploring five cellular automata: q-state Life (a generalization of Conway's Game of Life), the Belousov-Zhabotinsky Reaction, Togetherness, Viral Replication and Diffusion-Limited Aggregation. The documentation provides a complete description of the algorithms used.
Framsticks Theater
The Framsticks Theater is an easy-to-use application which illustrates some basic phenomena, like genes and genetics, mutation, evolution, user-driven evolution and artificial selection, walking and swimming, artificial life simulation, virtual world interactions, etc. It can be run on standalone workstations as a show (artistic installations, shops, fairs), as well as for education (e.g. biology, evolution, optimization, simulation, robotics...)
Framsticks Theater for Linux
The Framsticks Theater is an easy-to-use application which illustrates some basic phenomena, like genes and genetics, mutation, evolution, user-driven evolution and artificial selection, walking and swimming, artificial life simulation, virtual world interactions, etc. It can be run on standalone workstations as a show (artistic installations, shops, fairs), as well as for education (e.g. biology, evolution, optimization, simulation, robotics...)
Gravit
Gravit is a gravity simulator which runs under Linux, Windows and Mac OS X. It's released under the GNU General Public License which makes it free. It uses Newtonian physics using the Barnes-Hut N-body algorithm. Although the main goal of Gravit is to be as accurate as possible, it also creates beautiful looking gravity patterns.
Hertzsprung - Russell Diagram
This software is based on famous Hertzsprung - Russell [H-R] diagram in stellar astronomy.
LeoCrystal
LeoCrystal is an application for performing modeling of reaction on the surface of crystal for educational and research purposes. With it help one can estimate influence of different parameters of the structure elements of crystals on topology and kinetic of the crystallization. Because process of crystal growth is present in practically all major technology processes, in depth understanding of all its complexities is essential necessity.
LeoNetCDF
The LeoNetCDF software application permits to display and edit content of binary NetCDF files in tree style control of a standard window interface environment.
LeoNetCDF uses a state of art codes that are implemented a description of NetCDF format. It also can convert content of NetCDF file in and out a file in XML format that can be edited with any standard text editor application such as WordPad.
